Mission Call!

Dear Family, 

We have received a call to serve in the Uzbekistan Mission headquartered in Taskkent where we will represent the church in assisting local authorities to build a small scale nuclear power plant on the banks of the Amu Darya in the effort to restore water to the Aral Sea and instructing young Uzbekistani maidens in the finer points of making whole wheat bread. We enter the "empty sea" (no pun intended) next week and will serve for 13 months and 27 days. In our absence, we have arranged for our home to be used as a halfway house for recovering five-hour-energy-drink addicts and exhausted marathon runners.
