Obituary for Daniel Spencer Beus
Daniel Spencer Beus, 78, passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2013. He was born on September 2, 1935 in Rigby, Idaho, to Rulon Beus and Hope Spencer Beus.Dan was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was a former bishop, high counselor, high priest group leader, and scout leader. He loved genealogy, camping, hiking, history, reading, and spending time with family. He enjoyed singing and had a beautiful singing voice.
He is survived by his wife, Susan Beus; children, Michael (Gloria) Beus, Brian Beus, Mark (Marcy) Beus, Cristine (Tony) Albano, and James Beus; stepchildren, Rebekah (James) Allison, Ronald Perry, Jamie (Joel) Chamberlain, Angela (Chris) Livingston, Michael (April) Saunders, Brian (MaryAnn) Perry; 29 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Janet Beus; infant daughter, Danette Beus; and his parents, Rulon and Hope Beus.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, October 17th, at 10:00 am at the Provo Lakeside 1st Ward, 131 South 1600 West, Provo, UT, where a Visitation will be held prior from 9:00 am to 9:45 am. Interment in Provo City Cemetery.
