Proof

Dear Family, We know what you're thinking: They could be anywhere, sending us those e-mails as if they were in Japan on an alleged mission. They could be lolling on a beach in the Riviera or on a cruise ship on the Volga. They could be on the lam, running from the law.  Where are they really? Here is absolute proof, well anyway proof of sorts, perhaps convincing to those inclined to believe anyway. There is a picture of the canoe I finished just prior to leaving, which Jeremy has generously agreed to babysit while we are gone. There is a picture of us standing with our mission president and his wife in front of the Fukuoka Temple.  Pres. and Sister Margetts, very nice people whom we will miss when they are released next week. There are pictures of little Raiden (6) and Anika (4), delightful grandchildren whom we are last getting to know.  Life is good, see, and we really are here. love, Strangers in a Foreign Land
